Employment & Assignment Policies
How employments and assignments are created.
Position management, Cost Centres, Work Schedules cannot be required by an assignment policy until enabled in Employee Settings.
Worker types
Your own terms for kinds of worker, each mapped to a classification payroll understands.
No worker types yet
A worker type is your name for a kind of worker, such as Regular Teacher or Contract Teacher. Each maps to a classification that payroll and statutory reporting read.
Employment types
Your own terms for how much someone works.
No employment types yet
An employment type says how much someone works, such as Full time or Part time. It can carry the FTE and weekly hours an employment starts with.
Employee numbering
How new employees are given an identifier. The tenant-wide policy covers any employer without one of its own.
No numbering policy yet
Without one, a new employee would have no identifier. A policy composes a prefix, an optional date, and a padded sequence.
Assignment requirements
What Add Employee insists on. Every requirement lengthens a form somebody fills in for each new employee.
No assignment policy yet
Without one, Add Employee would not know which work fields to ask for. Start with a fallback that covers every worker type.
